Our Academy Reviews 🌟
“After being made redundant I was at a complete loss for what to do next. I wanted a job that I would enjoy doing and was up for a challenge to learn something new. My training at Pampers provided me with the knowledge, skills and hands on experience to succeed in dog grooming. Since completing my course i have gone on to start my own business as a mobile dog groomer. I am enjoying the whole adventure so far, I'm growing in confidence and building up regular customers. It is hard work but very rewarding when you see the owners happy faces.

“When I was younger I always wanted to be a hairdresser but then as I got older I had convinced myself that I wouldn’t be able to do it. 20 years later I find myself grooming dogs! This wouldn’t have been possible without the encouragement, support and kindness from the team at Pampers. 6 months on and I’m busier than I could have imagined, with my doors closed to new dogs. I have made some mistakes but the positive feedback I’ve had from clients has been amazing. One even had their dog stopped on the beach to ask where they had their dog groomed! Safe to say I was one very happy groomer! Thank you Pampers!

My daughter and I completed our Level 2 City & Guilds qualification at Pampers Grooming Academy, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we walked through the door, we received such a warm welcome. I still remember Margaret saying at the open day that you become part of the Pampers family—and she was absolutely right.
The course is hard work and can be tiring at times. Some dogs can be challenging, while others you’ll wish you could take home! But throughout it all, Margaret, Jodie, and Kelly are incredible—so patient, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
We also made great friendships with other students, and we’ve stayed in touch, continuing to support each other through a WhatsApp group.
If you’re considering a career in dog grooming, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pampers Grooming Academy.

Thanks again for making my dream become possible. I was fortunate that after the course I went to work with one of the Pampers students, Carla Dunn. It is always a joy to be around like minded people. And I was really lucky in that sense. So far, it has been an amazing journey working as a groomer. I was so happy that I wanted to give a big hug to the owner when she said it is the best haircut the doggy has ever had. One of the most important things I learned from Margaret in Pampers is: don’t be afraid to make mistakes, they make you learn faster and better. And there is always a way to fix it. Many thanks.
